Carrots Pulp Patties

I had been making our own juice since two years ago and i was thinking of something that carrots pulp could transform into something called "a healthy meal". Way back then on my college days i always grate carrots to make juice for my father and i made patties out of the grated carrots after squeezing the juice. I used eggs and flour, onions, salt and pepper. This time as the pulp is really fine, i mixed it with eggs and ground turkey (chicken will do), onions and garlic, salt and pepper to taste. A phenomenal taste. Another healthy meal and no waste at all.

Funnel cake

Every time there's festival in our town I would always buy a funnel cake. And somehow this weather we had makes my sanity go crazy. So my sweet tooth kicks in. I scrolled some old pics and i found a pic of me and my boy on a table having funnel cake then i thought, well i can google the ingredients and make my own. Hell yah. It tasted yummy with variety of toppings. Mine, just wanted plain and powdered sugar on it. Here it is.

Puto Flan

My first tryout of a Puto-Flan which turned our perfect and yummy. I used the cupcakes pan on this tho.

7Months Nashy

Now this boy has gotten big. He crawls backwards as a start. Can sit without assistance. Jabbers a lot and a chatter. At seven months old, we gave him his first little cereal puffs and water on sippy cup. At first he keep picking up the puffs and tried to put on his mouth. He gagged at times then he started chewing. He thought, this is cool. As per his snack, little puffs. Three big teeth in the bottom. Such a little cutie.

First Winter Storm: Snow Days

Wanna build a snowman? I feel like singing the ''Let it go" from the FROZEN movie, lol.

Snow is fun and pretty but very cold. Fun when you were able to build a perfect snowman with the whole family.

Six Months Nash

My Cutie Nash @ Six months

Nathan's 8th Birthday

My eldest boy has grown and he's getting taller as above average with his age. His birthday celebration attended by close friends and he invited couple classmates. He's been wanting to have a minecraft theme to which i had no idea how to make it happen. So i came up with the minecraft colors and did some decor. Rice cereal treat is a brilliant idea and found green and white wafer stick at the asian store. Happy kiddo.

Rice crispy treat i made. The brown is the dirt and green the grass.

The personalized balloon

The day on his birthday, we took him to gattitown after his school  as a treat along with his little buddy.

Smoothies (FRUITS)

Fruits overload!  Now, everyday i always make juice only APPLES and CARROTS. My mother inlaw gave me this as a gift last Christmas. I had been wanting to get one since i knew we have  "a bun in the oven". Surprisingly, i got my wishes granted. Oh yeah, it does help a lot. Very convenient and easy. Love this much.

Christmas Getaway (2014)

With the cold weather here, habibi decided to give me a vacation as Christmas gift. Of course for the whole family. We spent three days in florida. We have been this place for the third times already and still it always amazes us the preserved beaches. Foods are amazing, i mean seafoods. While we were enjoying the warm weather, we took our time to stroll the nearby beaches.
